Las Venturas & San Fierro DLC – Remastered 1.0

*GTA V Las Venturas & San Fierro DLC : REMASTERED – Mod by GTA BELGIUM*

This map DLC places the remastered 3D-era cities of Las Venturas and San Fierro,
alongside to the original map of GTA 5. This is a reworked version of an old mod of mine
I want to separate both mods, as some users might enjoy the original and untouched map conversion more, and both are really different actually.

You may need the ‘No Boundaries’ mod, if your cars stops working when driving on this map.
No Boundary Limits 1.1.4
OR
No Boundary Limits 1.0

The main map is converted from GTA IV: San Andreas BETA 3.
The map was in the past few weeks heavily remastered by myself.
Please know that I am not in a team for this and do it all myself, so don’t expect me to remaster really everything.
But, I think a lot of the most important things got edited and made more realistic compared to the original map.

I want to thank the GTAIVSA team for the conversion from GTA San Andreas
to GTA IV, and I hope they don’t see my GTA V version as a problem.

Those are the main members of the GTAIVSA team which I want to thank:
Blaster_nl
GTARandom
Flitskikker
Alber2gt
Gamerzworld
Tomix23
Everlost123
ManDog

Special thanks to:

– 3Doomer (tool GIMS EVO)
– Neodymium (tool Metatool)
– indirivacua (tool Cords2YMAP)
– Neos7 (tool Maphelper Maxscript)
– sollaholla (tool ME2YM)
– skylumz (tool YTools)
– dexyfex (tool CodeWalker)

REMASTERED?
Some of the most important changes I made:

– Smoothed terrain, old countryside parts were a little ‘edgy’,
so I tried to smooth the terrain as much as possible, with the same amount of polygons
– Some remastered props and buildings
– Vegetation Overhaul, all old vegetation is replaced by High-Res GTA V vegetation
– No more holes in the map, I placed houses and more props were the original convert had holes in the map
– Collision corrections
– More new textures and models
– Correct Vertex Paint
– Fixed some gaps between bridges (Las Venturas and Bone County got moved a little because of this)
– Applied correct shaders for objects having wrong ones in original map
– Added some water in specific places such as swimming pools or lakes
– Probably much more which I can’t think of right now…

For now, there are no traffic paths yet. I am planning to work on them but please know this is a huge map to do it for. I might do just some areas… If anyone wants to make traffic paths, feel free to do so!

INSTALLATION:
Install the files with OpenIV
If you can’t work with OpenIV, search for tutorials on youtube,
there are a lot of good tutorials.

– In update/x64/dlcpacks create the folder ‘sflv’ and paste the dlc.rpf (located in this download: sflv folder)
– In update/update.rpf-common-data edit the file dlclist.xml:
Search for the last ‘dlcpacks:\…\’ and paste this new dlc code line after it:
‘dlcpacks:\sflv\’

READY!

Recommended mods from others, as expansion to this map mod:
Radar minimap
Bridge connections
Trams in San Fierro
More props and houses, buildings
Pause menu map
More props, remaster
Train Paths

Some of those might by located slightly out of place, because I had to move Las Venturas and Bone County a little…
I don’t want to touch those mods myself, because they are not created by me.
But some little tweaks to the locations should do the trick.
