Improved variations of the Albany Emperor and its beater variant, with a colourable interior and dashboard, interior improvements, GTA IV-style grille and bumper, new white-wall tyres, original GTA IV light textures and light assignment, a new engine sound and horn, and an array of color variations. Multiple bugs, including an issue with the rear lights, have also been fixed.

The beater variant also features a unique horn, excessive banger and exhaust smoke effects (only supported in the add-on version), several grille variations and driver-side wings in off-tone colours, a worn interior, and is also mapped. It features three beater liveries and a number of color variations.

v1.1.0 (21 July, 2020):
– Major changes:
– Assigned the beater Emperor a new particle effect entry, which adds excessive exhaust smoke on idle, and exhaust bangs and plumes while driving.
– Changed the beater Emperor’s engine startup behavior in audio data; the vehicle may now sometimes fail to start first time.
– Changed the exhaust “pop” sound on the beater Emperor.

1. Start OpenIV.

2. Navigate to the ‘mods’ folder or create it in the GTA V folder if you don’t have it.

3. Navigate to or create the file path “update\x64\dlcpacks” within the mods folder:

4. Copy the ’emperor’ folder found within the Add-On archive into the mods folder.

5. Navigate to ‘dlclist.xml’ in update\update.rpf\common\data\. Right click and select “move to mods folder”, or “show in mods folder” if you already have.

6. Add “dlcpacks:\emperor\” to the bottom of the list within the dlclist.xml file.

7. If done correctly, the mod should be ready to use.

*Only the beater variant will serve as an add-on, as only this variant requires vehicles.meta edits, model name “emperor4”.

1. Start OpenIV.

2. Navigate to the ‘mods’ folder or create it in the GTA V folder if you don’t have it.

3. Navigate to or create the file path “update\x64\dlcpacks” within the mods folder:

4. Copy the ’emperor’ folder found within the Replace archive into the mods folder.

5. Navigate to ‘dlclist.xml’ in update\update.rpf\common\data\. Right click and select “move to mods folder”, or “show in mods folder” if you already have.

6. Add “dlcpacks:\emperor\” to the bottom of the list within the dlclist.xml file.

7. If done correctly, the mod should be ready to use.

You will also need to replace the beater Emperor’s vehicles.meta entry for the vehicle to behave correctly. Data and instructions for use can be found in the files included in the ‘Replace’ folder.

The vehicle will replace the existing Emperors (model names “emperor” and “emperor2”).
